Lathkill Dale, Cowslips and Early-purple Orchids, 30th April 2011

The cowslips carpeted the dale and the Early-puple Orchids were also abundant.

Downstream in the woods were dozens of Orange-tip butterflies.  The female above, was on a Garlic mustard flower.
