Butterflies and Early-purple orchids on the South Downs at Castle Hill yesterday; Green Hairstreak, Dingy Skippers and Peacocks.
It was a fabulous day yesterday on the South Downs above Brighton.
A Green Hairstreak butterfly posed by the path.
Dingy Skippers were also flying but the fast-flying Peacocks were illusive to photograph this day.
Early-purple Orchids were an additional joy to see.
