This is the view from the Derwent Bank Hotel of HF Holidays looking over Derwent Water. The following three blog entries show some pictures from three days walking of this 4 nights break.
I travelled effortlessly by Virgin Pendolino train from London Euston station to Penrith and then a local bus to Keswick. The below walks were graded "hard" or "medium-hard". On the same days there were shorter, lower level "easy" walks to suit all walking tastes. I recommend this holiday.
