Walk from Freshwater Bay to Brook and back along Brook Down on the Tennyson Trail

Freshwater Bay and the HF hotel.
Chalkhill blue (Common blue?) butterflies in action.
The female is on the pretty one on the left.

The cliffs were eroding significantly and by the road here were underpinned.

Speckled wood butterfly.
It is a pleasure to see chicory, Cichorium intybus growing wild in a cow field
with Tennyson Down in the background.

Our walk was self-lead and at this point we overtook an HF
party on the same trail.
A jackdaw on the sea front at Freshwater Bay.
