Native Gentians and Bellflowers on an eight miles walk in the Surrey Hills today

Yellow Wort, Blackstonia perfoliata, (a native Gentian) with the view to Norbury Park where we walk later.

 It was about eight miles and lots of steep inclines from Burford Bridge in the glorious Surrey Hills on a circular walk to Box Hill, Juniper Top, Mickleham Down, (beer break at the very pleasant King William IV Bar & Pub, Byttom Hill, Mickleham, RH5 6EL), the Mole Valley - Norbury Park:

Buff-tailed Bumblebee

Lots of Buff-tailed bumblebees, Red-tailed bumblebees and honey bees are flying around at the moment plus the occasional common carder bee, both in my Cuckfield garden and today in the Loder valley.
