Kingston near Lewes 6.5 miles circular walk

Above is a panoramic view towards Lewes from the field west of Swanborough Manor and below some zoomed shots of the castle. Tony lead this beautiful walk from the Mid Sussex Ramblers' programme on Tuesday 25th November 2008. Click on any picture to expand it - especially the panoramic shots. Whimsically the pictures are in the reverse order of the walk on the day.

Pretty little calf.

South Downs Way, which at this point some call the "yellow brick road" on Iford Hill with Seaford Head in the distance.
Fabulous panoramic view from Swanborough Hill overlooking Kingston and Lewes. And below zoomed pictures of Lewes Castle and Kingston Church from the same position.

Kingston Church
Tapsell gate closed and below, open.
Many thanks Tony, for another great walk.
