What a difference a year makes...
Mr & Mrs Heath (Ray & Alison) lead this splendid circular 11 miles walk from Gravetye Woods to Felbridge where the support team of Mr & Mrs Heath (Ed & Thelma, sprightly as ever) fed us right royally. This is not your usual Mid Sussex Rambler walk. It has become a Heath family special annual event! Many thanks from us all,

Fragrant Orchids on Frances's 5 miles walk from Ditchling
Tuesday, 15 July 2008. Frances lead this short 5 miles morning walk, taking in stunning downlands' orchids and other flowers.

Heading east from Ditchling towards Westmeston.
Ascending the Downs from Westmeston where the slopes were covered in Fragrant Orchids plus Pyramidal and Common Spotted Orchids -- a wonderful sight!

Cuckfield evening circular 2 July 2008
26 Ramblers joined this 3.7miles circular from Cuckfield. Above is an action shot of the group leaping over a stile out of New England Wood.
