Silver-washed Fritillary and Dark green Fritillary today in Shabden Park, Surrey plus hundreds of Common blues.
Silver-washed Fritillaries do well in this forest clearing and it was lovely to see one today in the Long Plantation.
And then later, a Dark green fritillary below was sunbathing in a wild meadow.
Common blues lived up to their name; a battered male above and female below.
