Lizard Orchids at Sandwich Bay yesterday.

Hundreds of Lizard orchids were blooming yesterday here at Sandwich bay, where an estimated 90% of the UK Lizard orchids population can be seen.  Some are very tall.

Below an impressive group is flowering on a sand dune by the public footpath which crosses the Royal St George golf course.
