Orchids on the South Downs
What a great sight the Downs were today. I don't recall seeing so many orchids before. This extraordinary beauty seems to have produced a flower from two fused flower spikes.
A fragrant Orchid, right, growing next to a Common Spotted-orchid.
Common Twayblade, which looks like little people if you click on the pictures below. Dog roses with Jack & Jill windmills in the background.
